Getting your stone to you

Delivery Information
How delivery works
All orders are delivered by an independent pallet network. Your stone arrives on a pallet, delivered by a large lorry with a tail lift and pallet pump truck.
Delivery is kerbside as standard. The driver will bring the pallet to the kerbside, or onto the driveway if access allows. The pallet can only be left somewhere accessible with a pallet pump truck - on hard ground (NOT grass or gravel). The pallet pump truck cannot go up or down steps, and needs smooth and reasonably level ground to operate.
Delivery area and cost
Delivery is included in the price for most mainland England and Wales postcodes. A supplement applies to inner London and mainland Scotland postcodes, which is shown at checkout before you pay.
We deliver to mainland UK only. We do not currently deliver to non-mainland addresses.
Choosing a delivery date
You choose your delivery date in your basket. The first available date is usually four working days ahead. You will receive an email confirmation when your order is dispatched.
Access
The lorries used by the delivery company are big (normally 18ton rigid lorries, although slightly smaller 7.5ton lorries can sometimes be requested) . If you have a narrow lane, low bridge, weight restriction, or any other access concern, contact us before ordering. We need to know about restrictions in advance and cannot guarantee delivery to all locations.
Make sure there is suitable hard, flat ground ready to receive the pallet before your delivery date.
If your delivery is late
The delivery companies that we use are very reliable, with approx 95% of orders arriving on the planned date. Delays within the delivery network can happen on rare occasions, and this is out of our control. We understand how frustrating this is, and please be assured that we are also annoyed when this happens. We advise you not to book tradespeople until your stone has arrived.
Returns
If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. The cost of return delivery is covered by the customer. If you would like us to arrange the return delivery, the cost of this will be deducted from your refund: £70 per pallet from most areas, and higher from London and Scotland. Alternatively you can arrange your own return.
