The first available delivery date is typically 4 working days from when you place your order. You choose your preferred date in your basket, so you can plan around when suits you.

Yes. Delivery is included in the price to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. A surcharge applies to London and Scotland postcodes — this is shown at checkout before you pay.

We can offer delivery across mainland England, Wales and Scotland. We do not currently deliver to islands, including Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, or Scottish islands.

Your stone is delivered on a pallet by an independent pallet network using a large lorry with tail lift and pallet pump truck. The pallet(s) will be off-laoded roadside, as the lorries do not enter the customer's property, and will then be moved using a pallet pump truck. The pallet(s) will need to be left somewhere accessible with the pump truck - on hard ground that is relatively level, and free from steps. The pallet pump truck will not work on grass or gravel. The final position of the pallet(s) may be kerbside, if there is no driveway that is accessible with the pump truck.

You will receive an email notification when your order is dispatched, and a confirmation of the delivery date (which you will have selected at checkout). If there is somewhere suitable to leave the pallet(s) (that is accessible with a pallet pump truck) on your property then you don't need to be at home on the day of delivery. If the delivery has to be left kerbside then you will need to be at home on the day. If you have access concerns or specific instructions, please include them in your order notes or contact us before your delivery date.

Please contact us before ordering if you have any access restrictions. The lorries used by the delivery company are large, and some addresses may not be suitable for pallet deliveries. If unsure, always contact us before ordering and we can look into it.

Occasionally, yes. We use independent pallet delivery networks for our deliveries, and they are very realiable overall, with most deliveries happening on the planned day. Occasionally there can be delays, and this is out of our control. We advise you not to book any trades people until your order has arrived.

All our stone is from the North Wales area. The Welsh slate is direct from our quarry at Llechwedd Slate Mines, while the glacial stone is from the surrounding area.

Our rockery stone, boulders, and monoliths are all hand-selected. Slate chippings are not individually selected by hand — they are graded and screened.

Yes. Both the Welsh slate and the glacial stone are fish-safe. They do not leach chemicals into the water and will not affect pH levels. Our stone is often used for pond edging and water features.

Yes. All options on our website are frost resistant, therefore suitable for year-round outdoor use in the UK climate.

The stone we sell is already 450-500 million years old. It will last our lifetime and beyond, with no significant change. However, the slate chippings, being newly crushed, may develop a more rustic look over the initial months as the weathering process takes place.

Yes. We supply both trade and public customers across the UK. If you are a landscaper, builder, or garden designer with regular requirements, please get in touch to discuss your needs.

If you cancel an order before it is dispatched then you will get a full refund. Once dispatched, cancellations are treated as returns. If you wish to return an item, please let us know as soon as possible, and always within 14 days of receiving delivery. We accept returns of full unused pallets within this timeframe, as long as they are in a resaleable condition. The customer is responsible for paying the return delivery, which is typically around £70 for most UK postcodes (higher for London and Scotland). The return delivery cost is deducted from your refund. Please contact us to arrange a return.

This is unliekly to happen, but if it does, please let us know on the day of delivery. We will work to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
